A Syrian artist and art historian Abdulsettar al Sattuf has drawn a mosaic to commemorate Turkish people's heroism against the July 15, 2016 defeated coup attempt, orchestrated by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).
With a team of six assistants, Sattuf worked for seven months to complete the 1.75 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide mosaic.
A mosaic is a piece of art, made from the assembling of small pieces of colored glass, stone or any other material.
"We love Turkey. We owe Turkey a great debt of gratitude. That is why I wanted to make this work. Those who saw the mosaic also liked it," Sattuf told Anadolu Agency.
