Turkey's new system to guarantee prevention of military influence
The Turkish presidential and general elections on 24th June mean a total change in the course of the Turkish system. The new system means removing the office of the prime minister, allowing the president's affiliation to a political party, restructuring the military in order to prevent it from interfering in the affairs of day-to-day politics and enhancing the role of the judiciary as an independent organ by new measures to guarantee its impartiality.
