YPG/PKK oppression towards residents reveals after Afrin liberated

Now that Turkish troops and Free Syrian Army fighters have taken control of Afrin town center, life is getting back to normal for city residents. Seven families hiding from YPG/PKK terrorists for a month surviving in their basement are finally enjoying the liberation of their hometown.

Seven families that were prevented from leaving Syria's Afrin town center by YPG/PKK terrorists have been hiding in the basement of their building for a month to survive..

Heysem Alo, a 38-year-old man, who is one of the 35 people who survived by enclosing themselves in the basement told stories of what they endured during those days.

Heysem Alo, an Afrin resident, said that : "We were very much scared of ypg/pkk terrorists because we know what they could do. So we hid in the basement of our builfing with our relatives. We have stayed here for almost a month. Thank God, Turkish military forces and Free syria army have come in and liberated our town from terrorists. "

Another survivor Ranya mohammed also recalled the hard times which he had lived for a month.

Ranya Mohammed, an Afrin resıdent, told reporters that: "It is hard to tell what we witnessed here. We could only pray, so we were only praying.. If terrorists were not afraid of Turkish soldiers, they wouldn't leave us alone but they eventually fled from here. Turkish soldiers came in and become a hope for people."

According to Turkish authorities, Olive Branch Operation aims to leave after establishing security and stability in the region as well as on Turkey's borders.
