Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer plans to return to action from a foot fracture at the start of pre-season training of his club Bayern Munich in early July, the Bundesliga champions said on Sunday.
"So far everything is going according to plan. I expect to be present again in the new season right from the start of the preparations," Neuer said in a club statement.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti plans to gather his players July 3 or 4 to get them in shape for the 2017-18 campaign.
Neuer, 31, suffered the injury in his left foot last month in a Champions League quarter-final at Real Madrid. He didn't have to undergo surgery but is still on crutches.
