Hoffenheim have signed wing-back Nico Schulz from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Schulz, 24, who had joined Gladbach from Hertha Berlin in 2015, has signed a three-year contract, Hoffenheim said Saturday.
Hoffenheim sport director Alexander Rosen said Schulz would give Hoffenheim options on the left where he can play as full-back or in midfield.
Schulz is the latest close-season arrival following Florian Grillitsch, Justin Hogma, Robert Zulj and Havard Nordveidt.
Hoffenheim finished a best-ever fourth in the league last season giving them a Champions League play-off berth. But they have lost key players Sebastian Rudy and Niklas Suele to champions Bayern Munich.
