Istanbul club Beşiktaş will start their UEFA Champions League campaign with an away match against Portugal's Porto on Wednesday night.
The Group G match in Dragao Stadium will start at 8.45 p.m. local time (1945GMT).
Beşiktaş manager Şenol Güneş, in a news briefing Tuesday night in Porto, said the group "is a tough one and there are matches we need to win to advance".
"We want to take responsibility and give our fans a good result. I cannot comment on what the score will be but I hope we win," Gunes said.
In the group's other match, France's Monaco and Germany's RB Leipzig will go head-to-head in Germany.
Wednesday's Porto match will mark Beşiktaş's 197th game in European competitions -- they have won 73 games so far, drawn 42 times and lost 81.
