Two people were killed by a roadside bomb laid by the PKK terror group in the southeastern Diyarbakir province, security sources said Tuesday.
A roadside bomb exploded on the Diyarbakir-Bismil highway, which was therefore closed to traffic.
More than 1,200 people, including security personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its decades-long armed campaign in July 2015.
