Turkey's opposition People's Democratic Party (HDP) lawmakers received on Wednesday the bodies of two PKK terrorists killed in western Muğla province.
Last week, five PKK terrorists were killed during a counter-terror operation in Muğla.
The autopsies for two of the terrorists were completed at the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institution.
The bodies of Roshad Seçkin and Musa Arslan were received, amid tight security, by lawmakers Meral Danış Beştaş and Erol Dora, along with relatives of the terrorists.
They will be transferred to southern Mersin and southeastern Diyarbakir provinces, a police source who spoke on condition of anonymity told Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish government has accused the HDP of having links to the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU.
For more than 30 years, the PKK has waged a terror campaign against Turkey leading to the deaths of more than 40,000 people -- security forces and civilians alike -- including more than 1,200 since July 2015 alone.
