Gunshots heard near Gendarmerie camp in Mali capital
Early Tuesday morning, gunshots were reported near a Gendarmerie camp in Mali's capital, Bamako. Witnesses indicated that the firing started around 5:30 a.m. local time near the Faladie camp.

Gunshots were heard near a Gendarmerie camp in Mali's capital early Tuesday.
Witnesses said the gunfire began at around 5.30 a.m. (0530GMT) near the camp at Faladie in Bamako.
The Western African country is currently ruled by a military administration.
