Turkish intelligence has "neutralized" Ayşe Arslan, so-called social area coordinator of the PKK terror organization in northern Iraq's Hakurk region, security sources said on Tuesday.
Türkiye had been tracking the terrorist, who had joined the PKK in 2004 and had been active in the group's Syrian offshoot YPG since 2014.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the U.S., and EU — has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
