In Syria, Mutlu Kacar, also known as Karker Andok, who issued instructions for actions against security forces operating in the operation areas, was neutralized in an operation carried out by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT).
Kacar had issued orders for an attack on a convoy of security forces in the Euphrates Shield Operation Zone during operations in Tel Rıfat. As a result, Staff Sergeant Fatih Güney and Sergeant Emrah Arslan were martyred.
After the MIT's investigation, Mutlu Kacar, the member responsible for giving instructions in the attack that resulted in the martyrdom of our soldiers, was identified and placed on the target list.
After an extensive search beyond the border, MIT successfully neutralized Mutlu Kacar in Ayn El Arab, demonstrating a responsible approach. The operation was carried out by field agents at just the right time.
