Two dead in Beijing as rain batters Chinese capital: state media

Two bodies were pulled from Beijing's flooded waterways on Monday as heavy rains battered the Chinese capital, state media reported.
"During an emergency patrol round this morning, two people were discovered in waterways," state-run People's Daily reported, adding that "at the time of discovery, both had lost vital signs."
