At least seven people were killed and another 20 injured in an explosion in Afghanistan 's capital Kabul on Tuesday, an official said.
The explosion, latest in a string of blasts across the country in recent months, targeted a passenger bus in Dasht-e Barchi area of Kabul, city's security department's spokesman, Khalid Zadran said in a statement.
The security forces have cordoned off the area, he said without providing further details.
The Taliban government has been struggling to contain a low-intensity wave of terrorist attacks, mostly claimed by ISIS or Daesh, since the militia re-captured Kabul two years ago.
Last month, at least seven people were killed and 17 others injured in a suicide blast targeting a mosque in northern Baghlan province.
