Pakistan's Imran Khan-backed candidates to join Sunni Ittehad party
Ten days ago, independent candidates supported by Pakistan's incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran Khan emerged victorious in inconclusive elections. As per the statement of Barrister Gohar, interim leader of the Sunni Ittehad Political Party, these candidates will now join forces with the party to establish a government.

Independent candidates backed by Pakistan's jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan that won seats in inconclusive elections over 10 days ago will join the minority Sunni Ittehad Political Party to form a government, the party's interim chief, Barrister Gohar said on Monday.
