The United States Department of Defense will lead a delegation to participate at the Xiangshan forum in Beijing, Chinese state media said on Wednesday.
The top security forum will be held over Sept. 12-14, state media has reported.
In addition, Russia, Ukraine and Israel will also send experts and scholars to participate. So far, more than 90 official delegations from countries and international organizations have confirmed their attendance, state media said.
