Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engages in active diplomacy

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in discussions with several of his foreign counterparts in response to the escalating tensions in Israel and Palestine, according to information gained from the diplomatic sources.

According to information from diplomatic sources, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held discussions with several of his counterparts following the heightened tensions in Israel and Palestine.

On October 7, Minister Fidan had phone conversations with various foreign ministers, including Qatar's Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani, Saudi Arabia's Faisal bin Farhan, Egypt's Samih Shukri, Palestine's Riyad al-Maliki, Iran's Hussein Emir Abdullahiyan, and the United States' Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

More recently, on a separate occasion, Fidan spoke with Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safedi, Spain's Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and again with US Secretary of State Blinken.

Furthermore, Fidan engaged in a phone conversation with British Foreign Minister James Cleverly to discuss the developments in Israel-Palestine.
