Turkey's monthly unadjusted industrial production index is expected to rise by 16.1 percent year-on-year in July, a group of economists said on Thursday.
The seven experts surveyed by Anadolu Agency predicted a rise in July from the same month of the previous year.
The unadjusted industrial production index in July's survey ranged between 9.9 percent and 22.1 percent -- for an average of 16.1-percent.
Moreover, economists estimated the calendar-adjusted industrial production index would increase by 10 percent and the seasonally calendar-adjusted index would decrease by 0.4 percent in July on a year-on-year basis.
The term "calendar adjusted" is used to refer to data where calendar and holiday-originated effects are removed.
The Turkish Statistical Institute is due to release official inflation figures on Friday.
