Turkish Airlines will soon launch direct flights from capital Ankara to 4 major cities in Europe, the flag carrier announced Friday.
Scheduled flights to Frankfurt will begin on Oct. 29, followed by Vienna and Berlin on Oct. 30 and Paris on Oct. 31, according to a press release.
The direct flights will further promote Ankara's potential and development, the statement said.
Board Chairman Ilker Ayci had heralded the launch of direct flights at a meeting with the Ankara Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 28.
Turkish Airlines flies to over 300 destinations worldwide with its fleet of 329 passenger and cargo aircraft.
According to the 2017 Skytrax survey, Turkish Airlines, already having been named the Best Airline in Europe between 2011 and 2016, has now been chosen as the Best Airline in Southern Europe for the ninth year in a row.
