Turkey's consumer prices to up 3.46 pct in Sept: survey

The average rise in consumer prices in Turkey is expected to be 3.46 percent in September, according to an Anadolu Agency survey on Friday.
On Wednesday, Oct. 3, the country's statistical authority TurkStat will announce inflation figures for September.
A group of 17 economists' monthly inflation forecasts vary between 2.15 and 4.00 percent, while the annual inflation is expected to stand at 21.19 percent in September.
The economists also predicted that Turkey's year-end annual inflation would be 21.84 percent on average -- the highest at 23 percent, the lowest at 21 percent.
Turkey's annual inflation was 17.90 percent in August -- up from July's figure of 15.85 percent -- while the consumer prices rose by 2.30 percent on a monthly basis.
