Turkey's chemical sector exports rose by 10.2% year-on-year in June, a local association said Thursday.
The Istanbul Chemical and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (IKMIB) said the exports reached $1.42 billion in June.
This figure totaled to $8.64 billion in the first half of the year.
In June, the sector's main export destinations were Iraq, the Netherlands and Germany.
Turkey's overall exports were $13.5 billion in June, up 15.8% on a yearly basis, the Turkish trade minister announced earlier on Thursday.
