Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,082.24 points on Tuesday, up 0.62% or 6.72 points from the previous close.
At Monday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 1.41% at 1,075.52 points with a daily trading volume of 18.7 billion Turkish liras ($2.6 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 7.3240 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), compared to 7.2950 at previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 8.5960 versus 8.5970 while British pound traded for 9.6010 Turkish liras, down from 9.6340.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $45 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
