Norwegian gas pipeline opens in Poland after Russian cut: officials

A major new pipeline that will bring in Norwegian gas via Denmark was inaugurated in Poland on Tuesday in a move aimed at helping strengthen Europe's energy security.
"Today we are opening this pipeline... which was a Polish dream," Poland's President Andrzej Duda said at the launch of the Baltic Pipe, which has a capacity of 10 billion cubic metres per year.
