Europe should fund strategic defence projects, von der Leyen says

Europe should use a special programme to fund defence spending on projects of strategic interest to the continent, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday.
"The focus will be on areas of European strategic interest like a European integrated air defence, deep and precision strike capabilities, drones (..) missiles and ammunition or of course the military use of AI," she said.
