The defense industry has added new solutions to the developed "loitering munition" and kamikaze UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) systems.
Robit Technology, which first announced its kamikaze UAV solution named "Azab" in March, has intensified its efforts.
The company initially introduced the version of Azab with a wingspan of 200 centimeters, and now, at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023), it will unveil the version with a wingspan of 150 centimeters for the first time.
The multi-purpose kamikaze drone Azab T150, with a delta wing structure, is currently undergoing flight tests.
Debuting at IDEF, Azab T150 stands out as a faster, more secure, effective, and operationally convenient solution with cost-effectiveness, mobility, easy integration into military systems, and high logistical convenience.
Azab T150 has a wingspan of 150 centimeters and a length of 110 centimeters. With a maximum take-off weight of 7.3 kilograms, it can stay in the air for up to 120 minutes and reach a range of 150 kilometers.
The kamikaze UAV has a payload capacity of 3 kilograms and can fly day and night within a communication range of 150 meters, reaching an operational altitude of 2000 meters.
Launched from a catapult, Azab T150 can be easily operated by a single operator.
It features capabilities such as changing flight routes, real-time data transfer, mission planning, manual control, and flying in swarms.
