Türkiye's HÜRJET prototype takes flight with new design

The second prototype of HÜRJET, developed domestically by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), took to the skies with its new paint design.

TUSAŞ shared images of the painting process and the flight of the newly painted prototype on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

In a post on X, Presidency of Defense Industries Chairman Haluk Görgün described the second prototype of HÜRJET as a source of pride for national engineering, soaring into the skies with its fresh look.

Highlighting that HÜRJET once again proves the level of capability achieved through Turkish engineering in aviation, Görgün stated, "We are flying into the future with the determination and perseverance of the Turkish defense industry.''

''I congratulate everyone involved, especially the TUSAŞ family. We are advancing toward even greater goals with confidence."
