Excavations in eastern Türkiye reveal traces of life dating back 7,000 years

At Pulur Höyük in the Aziziye district of Erzurum, ongoing excavations directed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have revealed stone architectural remnants, fixed hearths, grain silos, kilns, and pottery workshops dating back 7,000 years.

"In the excavations at Pulur Höyük, which have been ongoing for about 4 years, we have determined that there were signs of settled life here 7,000 years ago," she said.
