Frida Kahlo, a Mexican female painter who became an iconic figure worldwide not only for her art but also for her painful life story, lived from 1907 to 1954.
Suffering from serious health issues since the age of six, she left behind 143 paintings, including 55 self-portraits, and a life marked by struggle when she passed away at the age of 47.
In this exhibition, inspired by Kahlo's personal struggles and pain, digital copies of her diaries in their original form, as well as enlarged versions and photographs, are displayed in an environment reflecting the atmosphere of the era.
The exhibition not only reveals Kahlo's artistic journey and tragic life but also offers art enthusiasts a brief journey into the colorful world of Mexican culture.
The exhibition, which has attracted significant attention from both locals and tourists, is open for viewing at Antalya Culture and Art until November 30.
