Turkish Navy's TCG Kinaliada Corvette conducts joint training with Malaysian Naval Forces

Türkiye's TCG Kinaliada Corvette, the fourth ship of the Ada-class of the Turkish Navy, conducted transit training with elements from the Malaysian Naval Forces, Türkiye's National Defense Ministry said Friday.

"Our TCG KINALIADA corvette, which continues its voyage to Japan, carried out transition trainings with the frigate KD JABAT from Malaysia's Naval Forces," it wrote on X.

"During the trainings, Malaysian Naval Forces Command personnel were informed about the capabilities of TCG KINALIADA," it added.

The training occurred as part of the corvette's voyage to Japan, which started April 9 to mark the 100th anniversary of Türkiye-Japan relations.

The voyage includes visits to 24 ports in 20 countries, including Malaysia.
