The heavy rain, which has been effective for a while in Malatya, has turned into hail in some places.

The walnut-sized hail that was effective in and around Hekimhan district damaged the cultivated fields and trees.

While the intermittent torrential rains are expected to be more effective throughout the city for a while, the authorities warned that caution should be exercised against negativities such as flash floods, flooding, transportation disruptions, lightning, hail, and sudden storms.
