Gigi and Bella’s father: Jews who we had harboured for 3 years seized our home

Palestinian-American models Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid have spoken out against the violence inflicted by Israel on the Palestinian people.

They have consistently expressed their support for the Palestinian community, even in the face of death threats.

The Hadid sisters' father, Mohamed Hadid, also shared his family's experience of Israeli oppression, stating that they wouldn't allow his mother to return home.

"It was the land where our ancestors had lived for centuries. When the ship carrying Jewish refugees approached the shores of Palestine, it had "We lost our homes in Germany; we lost our hope. Please don't shatter our dreams" written on it." he said.

Israel has gained a notorious reputation as a 'murderous state' in the annals of history. The Israeli military, which has been bombarding the Palestinian population since October 7, has shown no signs of stopping for 24 days, targeting residential areas and raining bombs on hospitals, homes, and schools.

Through their social media platforms, Gigi and Bella Hadid have strongly condemned Israel's attacks on the Palestinian people, calling for a ceasefire.

Their outspoken stance against the violence has even led to death threats against them. In response to these threats, the FBI has taken measures to ensure the safety of the Hadid sisters.

Most recently, Mohamed Hadid, the father of Gigi and Bella Hadid, recounted the oppression inflicted by Israel.

"On that day, my grandfathers and everyone else took in two Jewish families each. My father also brought two Jewish families home. They lived with us for a total of 2.5 years. While my mother was pregnant with me, she had gone to Nasira to visit her family."

"After I was born, when I was just 9 days old, she went to Safed with me and was left stranded at the door. That family did not allow my mother into their home, not even to get a blanket for me." Mohamed Hadid added.
