Donations stored on the grounds of a supermarket in Recklinghausen city were set alight on Monday night, the police said in a statement.
German police are looking for PKK-linked suspects who deliberately set fire to a pile of donations collected for victims of the Turkish and Syrian earthquakes.

Video footage showed one of the suspects also setting a Turkish flag on fire, which was extinguished in two hours by 40 firefighters.
The police appealed for witnesses and asked anyone with information to contact them and assist in the investigation.
All of the aid materials collected in the market were reduced to ashes.
Hundreds of people have been mobilized in Germany to raise funds and collect relief supplies to help the victims of the major earthquakes that hit Türkiye on Feb. 6.
Tens of thousands of people were killed and more than 120,000 others injured in the deadly earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye and the northern region of the conflict-ravaged Syria, according to the latest official figures.
The magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes, centered in the Kahramanmaraş province, affected more than 13 million people across 10 provinces, including Adıyaman, Gaziantep and Hatay.
