Torture tools found at Syrian security branch in Aleppo

In Syria, the collapse of the Ba'ath regime revealed the tools used for torture at the Political Security Service branch in Aleppo.

The footage documented the torture marks and inhumane conditions behind closed doors at the branch.

The facility contained numerous solitary cells and dormitories with the names and dates of prisoners engraved on the doors, along with torture devices such as whips, blindfolds, rubber tires, and ceiling-hanging chained handcuffs.

In the documentation rooms used by security personnel, biometric photos of numerous individuals, including women, were recorded.

Leftover food and drink remnants in the cells indicate that many people had recently been held there, and the blankets on the floor suggest these individuals were forced to sleep in cramped conditions.
