Absentia funeral prayers performed across Türkiye for martyred Palestinians amid Israel-Gaza conflict

Citizens across Türkiye attentively listened to the Friday sermon on "Palestine" delivered by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.

The sermon underlined that civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, were subjected to mass casualties due to devastating weapons and bombs.

It also pointed out that Gaza is currently witnessing one of the most significant acts of oppression in history, right before the eyes of the entire world. In light of these grave circumstances, Muslims are left with no option but to continue their struggle for freedom in the face of such oppression.

Following the Friday prayer in mosques, absentia funeral prayers were offered for those who lost their lives in Palestine, and additional prayers were offered for them.
