Israeli captives held by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas' armed wing al-Qassam Brigades expressed their frustration, blaming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their predicament, as he refused to conduct a prisoner exchange.
The Qassam Brigades released a video in which the Israeli prisoners directly addressed Netanyahu through their Telegram account.
One of the three captive women in the video drew attention to a recent press conference for captive families and stated, "We understand the need for a ceasefire, and you promised our release."
Female Israeli captive underlined the following points when addressing Netanyahu: "We bear the brunt of your political, military, and security blunders, particularly those that occurred on October 7. No military presence was available, and there was no rescue. We are held in a situation where no standards apply. Netanyahu, your inaction is causing harm and death to all of us. Do you intend to sacrifice us all by relying on the Israeli army? Isn't it enough that you caused immense suffering and loss? Isn't it sufficient that you're putting the lives of Israeli citizens at risk?"
The Israeli woman pleaded with Netanyahu to consider a prisoner exchange, saying, "Release us without delay. Release their citizens and Palestinian prisoners immediately. Allow us all to reunite with our families. Act swiftly!"
