The woman who greeted the workers in her residence in France with "salamualaikum" was briefly detained following a complaint from her neighbor.
Lawyer Nabil Boudi said via a post shared on the social media platform that his female client was reported to the police by a neighbor who overheard her saying "salamualaikum" to the workers in their building.
Boudi further stated that his client, who was taken into custody in the morning based on this complaint, was later released. When asked why she was detained, the police responded that "no risks can be taken in the current context."
