Hurricane Milton weakens into Category 4 hurricane, NHC says
Hurricane Milton has intensified to a Category 4 storm, with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. The hurricane is currently located 585 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida.

Milton is now a Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory.
The hurricane was located 585 miles (840 km) southwest of Tampa, Florida, packing maximum sustained winds of 155 mph (250 kmh).
