Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber is facing criticism for his Instagram story, where he expressed support for Israel by overlaying the words "Praying for Israel" on a picture of a damaged neighborhood in Gaza.
The 29-year-old singer's post has sparked controversy and raised eyebrows.
The musician removed the post within an hour and re-shared the same message without a background image, retaining the original wording.
According to Mohammed Zubair, the co-founder of the fact-checking website Alt News, the image used in the post is an aerial view of a damaged building in Gaza that was a result of Israeli air strikes on May 22, 2021.
