Turkish Red Crescent offers aid to asylum seekers in Iraq
The head of the Turkish Red Crescent Iraqi Humanitarian Relief Agency, Serdar Yılmaz, has visited the Cedda Refugee Camp in the village of Kayyara south of Mosul and helped to distribute food, blankets, and sleeping materials to 300 families.

"We distributed 1.5 tons of pasta, 300 items of clothing, 150 blankets and 150 sleeping pads to 300 families who left their homes and settled in the refugee camps during Mosul's rescue operation from Daesh," Yılmaz told Anadolu Agency.
Yılmaz added that the organization had dispersed tents, blankets, other food, and hygiene materials to families in need in Iraq.
The Turkish Red Crescent has offered assistance to more than 170,000 families in need in Iraq since 2014.
