Residents of Afrin town center regained access to running water on Tuesday following Turkish intervention.
As part of its efforts to return peace and normalcy in northwestern Syria, Turkey repaired a wastewater treatment plant in the area which had been destroyed by terrorists.
Turkey on Jan. 20 launched Operation Olive Branch to remove YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists from Afrin. On March 18, Turkish troops and Free Syrian Army liberated the Afrin district center.
Turkey's General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) of southeastern Hatay and southern Adana provinces carried out the reconstruction.
The reconstruction restored running water for two Afrin neighborhoods.
