Turkish charity group Humanitarian Relief Foundation, or IHH, has distributed 15 million loaves of bread since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, a charity official said Monday.
Selim Tosun, IHH's media adviser in Syria, said the charity operated several bakeries in Turkey and Syria that produce 750,000 loaves of bread per day.
Tosun said in 2018, IHH distributed 115 million loaves of bread to Syrian families in different parts of Syria.
Separately, IHH has distributed food aid packages to nearly 3,400 families in the northwestern Syrian city of Azez.
