Israeli police arrested four Palestinians on Sunday near Bab al-Amud, one of the entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.
The four, including three young women, were beaten before their arrest, according to eyewitnesses.
The Israeli police have yet to issue a statement on the incident.
Israel often carries out raids and detentions against Palestinians in Jerusalem.
