Tragically, a Palestinian child, 16-year-old Mohammed Rifat, who was targeted by Israeli forces with live bullets in the occupied West Bank, has lost his life.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that this brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the start of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict centered in Gaza on October 7 to 55.
The situation remains extremely dire, with ongoing demonstrations of support for Gaza in the West Bank against the Israeli army's attacks that have resulted in the loss of more than 2,000 civilian lives in the blockaded Gaza Strip in the last week.
