The Gaza government's media office, operating under blockade, has alleged that Israel deliberately struck bakeries and the areas surrounding them where people were queuing for bread.
In a press release from the Gaza government's media office, it was reported that five bakeries and the areas where people were waiting for bread were targeted during Israeli airstrikes.
The statement pointed out: "Israel intentionally aimed at these bakeries and their surroundings, resulting in the deaths and injuries of numerous Palestinians near the affected bakeries. Israel exhibits no restraint when it comes to committing such crimes" and its goal is to further exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza by targeting these bakeries."
The Palestinian side called for an immediate response from the international community to take a firm stand against Israel's actions and put an end to them.
