The provision of medical care in the Gaza Strip has been "completely paralyzed" due to the impossibility of communication via telephone and internet, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
Eyewitnesses told dpa that ambulances and civilian guards were unable to reach injured people in attacked locations or recover dead bodies. They said local residents are trying to transport injured people in their own cars.
The communications outage has left ambulances and medical teams unable to do their work, said Ashraf al-Kudra, a spokesman for the ministry.
