Israeli soldiers recently disrupted a live broadcast by TRT Haber on the Lebanese border. The soldiers confronted reporter Merve Güneş and cameraman Deniz Kahraman, instructing them to cease recording and temporarily restricting their movements. They disconnected the camera cable and obstructed the camera lens with a board. Despite the team's attempts to present their passports and accreditation cards, the soldiers refused to cooperate.
Reporter Merve Güneş expressed her frustration, noting that they had initially passed through checkpoints without issues and followed all necessary procedures. She emphasized that they were outside the military settlement and had not engaged in any illicit activities.
Following a waiting period of more than half an hour, the Israeli soldiers relocated the media team from the area.
