Israeli forces detonated the house of Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, according to witnesses.
Israeli forces raided the town of Arura northwest of Ramallah and searched al-Arouri's house, a witness told Anadolu.
"Israeli forces detonated the house before they withdrew from the area," the witness added.
Israel blames al-Arouri for attacks against Israeli targets in the West Bank.
Tensions have been running high across the West Bank amid a massive Israeli bombardment campaign on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
At least 122 Palestinians have been killed and 1,680 others detained by the Israeli army since Oct. 7, according to Palestinian figures.
