At least two Palestinians were killed on Saturday in an Israeli bombing that targeted the entrance of a hospital for children in the Gaza City, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.
In a statement, the ministry said that "the Israeli occupation forces targeted the gate of Al-Nasr Children's Hospital, which led to the deaths of two Palestinians and many other injuries."
Earlier on Saturday, Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa TV reported that the Israeli army targeted the entrance of Al-Nasr Children's Hospital in the western Gaza City.
Several Palestinian local media outlets reported that civilian casualties were caused due to the attack.
The Israeli army has recently targeted Palestinian hospitals in the Gaza Strip including the Al-Shifa Hospital, Al-Quds Hospital, and Indonesian Hospital.
The Israeli army has widened its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless airstrikes since the surprise offensive by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7.
At least 9,227 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli attacks since then, while the Israeli death toll has topped 1,500, according to official figures.
