A total of 22 hospitals in the Gaza Strip have run out of service due to the Israeli "aggression," the government media office in the besieged enclave said on Sunday.
"Due to the deliberate targeting of hospitals, with a particular threat to medical personnel, a total of 22 hospitals and 49 health centers have been forced out of operation due to the Israeli aggression. Furthermore, the occupation (forces) targeted 53 ambulance vehicles," the office said in a statement.
It said that the death toll of Palestinians has reached 11,180, including 4,609 children and 3,100 women. The number of injuries reached 28,200, with 70% being children and women.
Some 70 mosques were completely destroyed, 153 mosques suffered partial damage, and three churches were targeted in Israeli attacks, the government media office said.
Regarding agricultural losses, the statement said that direct losses are estimated at $180 million, with over 25% of agricultural areas destroyed, totaling 45,000 dunams.
A dunam equals to 1,000 square meters.
Additionally, numerous fruit-bearing trees were damaged, and entire groups of livestock, poultry, and fish farms were decimated, it said.
The statement also said that 92 government offices and 241 schools were targeted.
For the past 37 days, the Israeli military has been launching attacks from air, land, and sea on Gaza, destroying residential neighborhoods and causing extensive civilian casualties.
