2 more Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza ground offensive, death toll rises to 49
The Israeli army announced that two more soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total death toll from the ongoing ground offensive to 49 since October 27. Additionally, four soldiers were seriously injured in the recent fighting in the Palestinian territory.

The Israeli army said Wednesday another two soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll from its ongoing ground offensive in the blockaded enclave to 49 since Oct. 27.
A military statement said that four more soldiers were seriously injured in fighting in the Palestinian territory.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
At least 11,320 Palestinians have been killed, including around 7,800 women and children, and over 29,200 others have been injured, according to the latest figures from Palestinian authorities.
Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in the Israeli offensive.
The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, stands at 1,200, according to official figures.
