Moscow court fines Google $45,000 for discrediting Russian armed forces
A Moscow court fined Google 4 million Russian rubles ($45,300) for failing to remove videos discrediting the Russian armed forces from its YouTube platform. The court stated that Google did not comply with a request from Russian authorities to delete the content.

A Moscow court on Thursday fined Google 4 million Russian rubles ($45,300) for discrediting Russian armed forces.
The Tagansky city court said the tech giant did not delete videos that spread false information about the Russian armed forces from its YouTube platform after getting a relevant request from the Russian authorities.
Earlier, the same court repeatedly fined Google for YouTube videos promoting non-traditional relations, rooftopping, which is exploration of highest buildings and industrial spots often done illegally, and for discrediting the Russian armed forces.
